Odds are this style of practice is unlike any yoga class you have experienced before. This traditional Hatha Yoga practice is based upon the teachings of the unbroken lineage of Himalayan Masters, passed down directly from teacher to student.
What does that mean? I'm not making this stuff up, it's all time tested and it works, it's based upon an ancient science.
If you are looking purely for exercise, then I'm sorry this probably isn't the right style of practice for you.
If you are looking for more than just exercise and are open to going deeper into revealing your potential as a human being; then why not try something new?
Read on to find the class for you :)

The Class Types
GENERAL HATHA - Preparation.
I've developed this practice as a stepping stone into Tantric Hatha Yoga. In this class we focus upon building strength, discipline and a steady calm breath. The Tantric Hatha practices place a significant emphasis on spinal extension, so here we work upon building up the muscles that support the spine. We also work on opening the hips so that we can sit more comfortably in meditation.
This class incorporates asana (posture work) and also begins to introduce pranayama and meditation techniques.
Beginners are welcome to attend this class.
MOON PRACTICE - STAGE 1 of Hatha Yoga Practice.
This practice is medicine for the modern mind. The practice is deep, challenging and nourishing with dynamic movements leading to longer holds in the asana. The emphasis is on creating stability and calmness in both body and mind. In addition to posture practice, pranayama and meditation are also included in each class.
Moon practice is the foundation of all Tantric Hatha practices that follow. This class is not recommended for anybody with back injuries or uncontrolled Blood Pressure.
SUN PRACTICE - STAGE 2 of Hatha Yoga Practice.
The sun practice is about energy management and developing sensitivity to Prana, the energy that sustains us and all of life. The practice is more dynamic and heating when compared to the Moon practice, incorporating more asanas that open the upper body and chest. In addition to posture practice, pranayama and meditation are also included in each class. The deeper tantric practices of Bandhas and Mudras are utilised.
FIRE PRACTICE - STAGE 3 of Hatha Yoga Practice.
Fire practice draws upon all previous stages of Tantric Hatha practice. It' s a very specific practice of cultivating energy and building our internal fire at the navel centre. This fire (agni) is then used to burn through the limitations and patterns that keep us stuck in life. The goal of this practice is inner illumination, or in other words realisation of our dormant potential (Kundalini Shakti).
For this practice to be truly fruitful, one must be stable, calm and grounded; and have already cultivated a relationship to Prana.
This class is not suitable for beginners.
